| | Training, Education and Development (TED) DatabaseFeb. 13, 2006 - A central part of a project from Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership (REEEP) is to create an easily accessible, global database of available RE and EE courses called the Training, Education and Development (TED) database. This will be a free resource for anyone with an interest in these areas, and will be included into reegle.info, which contains information on businesses, initiatives, partnerships and organisations involved in RE and EE. Basically, the task is to gather accurate and up-to-date information on relevant courses in three particular areas, where the criteria is simply to provide education in RE and EE: 1 university courses for undergraduate and post graduate students, including seminars and summer schools for business decision makers 2 non-academic courses of all lengths for technicians including house builders, and other non-professional occupations 3 "greenpacks" and courses aimed at educating children Non-english courses as well as english courses are being included into the TED database, where the emphasis is on including as many relevant courses as possible. REEEP would be most grateful for your help in identifying and cataloging relevant information and your assistance will be appreciated. Please note that the TED forum in the REEEP Members Area is active and all are welcome. | |
